Your immune system will also be boosted which is great during this pandemic as you can be more prone to coronavirus if you smoke. The increase of oxygen in your body can reduce tiredness and the likelihood of headaches.

Studies show that men who quit smoking when theyre 30 add an extra 10 years to their lives. Stopping improves your chances of having a disease-free and mobile life. Passive smoking is also important to remember as it not only affects you but your loved ones. Breathing in second-hand smoke increases the chances of having a stroke, lung cancer or heart disease and in children it doubles the risk of getting chest illnesses which include pneumonia, wheezing, asthma and ear infections.
